RADM Kerry Metz, Commander Special Operation Command North, was in the Denver area on June 4th and 5th providing presentations to a number of organizations as part of a Chief of Navy Information community outreach program. On Friday he presented to about 60 USS Colorado (SSN 788) and Navy League supporters in the Denver Tech Center. Metz provided an interesting perspective of Navy events from his unique perspective as a Navy SEAL.
RADM Metz has 31 years of service including 52 months in combat and holds the honor of being the third most senior SEAL Admiral in the Navy.
As part of RADM Metz’s tour he paid a call on Governor Hickenlooper. Committee Chair JJ Mackin accompanied him and provided the Governor and Major General H. Michael Edwards, Colorado’s Adjutant General, with an update on Committee activities and plans.
